A reminder that the Saltaire Arts Trail will be taking place this weekend, it promises to be a great showcase of local artists and good fun for all the family.

About Me
- Becca McGrath
- I have been creating doodles for over a decade but have only recently turned these into filling in large pictures with my designs . I use ball point pen to colour a composition with patterns and doodles - I love the texture and tone you can achieve, and I wouldn’t use anything else. I think my pictures are creative, quirky and stand out from the norm, but most of all I just love creating them! If you have any comments or questions about my work, please feel free to email glitterqueen@rocketmail.com

Saltaire Arts Trail 2012
The Saltaire Arts Trail will be taking place over the May Bank Holiday weekend - Friday 5th to Sunday 7th May.
The people of Saltaire have opened their doors to a wide variety of artists, giving visitors the chance to see work in situ. There will also be craft and makers fairs at Victoria Hall.
My work has been allocated to 2 Constance Street, I'm exhibiting with Sarah Jane Mason with her beautifully colourful paintings, and Kevin Emmott and his amazing junkbox instruments.

Happy New Year
I'll start the year as I mean to go on - by posting more!
I've added a new page to the blog, with examples of my early doodles and patterns. This was how I started creating and I still do the odd page of them when I'm stuck for a picture idea.

Cottingley Art Show
It's been a long time since my last post, so here is a pic from the Cottingley Cornerstone Art Exhibition. This picture was my largest so far, entitled 'Pond Life'. I also exhibited 'Buddleia' and 'Robin in Holly'
